While I was in DC, we went to some little indie record shop in Adams Morgan. I always browse the compilations and found this compilation from 8mm, a bar I used to frequent when I lived in Berlin. It was a really cool ex-pat hang out; they had good live bands in every so often and spun a wide array of music. I hadn't heard of any of the bands, but when I listened to it, the first song was really great and upbeat. But the trashy noise girl band WG (Vaga) was the clincher for me. Don't miss Blah Blah Blah. It's my current fav. Lots of high energy rock, a little "pretty" singer/songwriter stuff and a good sampler.
Anyway, I present this compilation for your aural pleasure.
